Singin' In the Rain... Wearing Origami Rain Boots!

It is raini"Origami Me" Rain Boots by Plueys ($66)ng in Southern California!  It is a welcome change from the sunshine and it really reminds me of an autumn back home.  As a kid, I used to always love puddle jumping around my neighborhood.  When it would rain, my family would all sit out on the front porch and watch the cars try to make it through the flooding that always occurred... They are some of my fondest memories!

I was walking on campus yesterday and I was shocked at the amount of students that own pretty rain boots (especially in an area where it rains three times a year if you are lucky!)  The weather doesn't really warrant me spending money on a pair,  but if I could, these pink Origami Crane Plueys Rain Boots would do the trick.  Don't you think?

Origami + Rain = Terrible Idea

but!

Origami + Rain Boots = Genius!

Love these!! Obviously where I am it rains often, and some summers it'll rain more days then we even have sun! So rain boots are always in high demand! With all the girls in this area treating rainboots as a high fashion statement (even when it's not raining) I have to say, these top them all! Too cute!

Thanks Kat and RSA! Now I just need for it to rain more so I have a bigger excuse to go shopping :D I think I am also just in love with the idea of origami in the rain (because you know it would never work out unless folding cranes out of plastic!)

Kat, do they really wear them even when it isn't raining? This morning was lightly misty and I see some girls with them on, but for most it was back to sandals, haha.
