Cedar Crest College Origami Raffle

I think origami has a wonderful potential to bring people together. Recently, I donated a collection of origami dolls, bookmarks, card holders and more to the Society for Asian Animation at Cedar Crest College for a fundraiser for both their organization and for tsunami victims in Japan. They sent this wonderful message and photographs of their table for me to share with you all!
We wanted to thank Ume Origami for donating a large collection of her origami to the Society for Asian Animation here at Cedar Crest College. We are an organization all about bringing people together over the shared interest of Asian animation in a relaxed setting. The wonderful donation given to us by Ume Origami has been turned into a raffle in order to support our club. We are also raising money for the relief effort for Japan by donating half of our proceeds. The feedback we have received from the campus community has been great, with an interest in the origami itself, as well as offering them a way to help out Japan in it’s time of need. We are extremely grateful for the time and effort she had to put into making this origami and hope we are able to give it to someone who is as taken away with it, as we are.

I really hope that the winner enjoys their prize, along with the satisfaction that their effort is going to help those in need. Thanks Society for Asian Animation!
